"A southern Rhone blend, infused with a dollop of viognier. Scents of purple pastille, raspberry bon-bon, rose water and eucalyptus, quintessentially Australian. The tannins, finely wrought. The oak, embedded nicely. This is a large-framed wine of impressive freshness, if not a slightly drying finish."

"It’s drinking very nicely. We get vigor, we get raspberried fruit, we get tips of blue berries and violets and sweet, woodsy spices. In short we get a lovely array of flavour, served clean/fresh but in decent volume too. It’s a bit of a no-brainer, this one. It just works. There’s always been a smidgen of Viognier in Henry’s Seven and all it does here is add to the general sense of liveliness. Add subtle mocha and sweet-leaf notes and you’re away."

"Rich purple tones in the glass. Mulberry, bruised plum, anise and black pepper aromas. Dark fruits on entry then a musk and white pepper spice line fills in adding loads of character and interest. Straddling the medium to full bodied boundary with both fine tannins and a hint of acidity ensuring it has both appeal in its youth and longevity if required."

"The 2022 Henry's Seven is a fruit salad blend of Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro and Viognier offering up heady dark cherry, white pepper and apricot aromas against a subtle meaty backdrop. Beautifully vibrant, it delivers juicy, fleshy fruit flavors with an attractive chalky tannic frame. The length and balance are very impressive over a seamless finish. It's a crowd-pleaser but with indisputable quality."
