Gevrey-Chambertin AOP 2019 Domaine Louis Boillot

Deze village is afkomstigvan 8 verschillende lieu-dits die de Gevrey Chambertin village status hebben, waarvan een perceel van 1,5 hectare in “Le Fourneau”. De pinot noirstokken hebben de gemiddelde leeftijd van 50-70 jaar. De wijn werd gedurende 18 maanden op eikenhouten vaten opgevoed waarvan 20% nieuw en werd voor botteling noch geklaard noch gefilterd.

Medium to full-bodied, velvety and vibrant, it's deep and concentrated, with a seamless profile and a saline finish. It's well worth seeking out.”(91/100 punten)

Burghound: “There is a suggestion of herbal tea to the high-toned red berry fruit, newly turned earth and underbrush scented nose. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the saline-inflected flavors on the youthfully austere finale. This is really quite good for its level and worth checking out.” (89-91 punten)
